This project requires Visual Studio update error

After running my Windows Phone 8.1 Silverlight project through the conversion, when I bring up my project in Visual Studio 2015, my project won't fully load since it has a message that says that my project requires a Visual Studio update to load.   I'm using VS 2015 with Update 1 so I can't imagine what I am missing.   Any ideas?

Hi Rick. Can you please verify the version of the SDK that you have installed?

The latest version is: 10.0.10586 and it can be downloaded from: https://dev.windows.com/en-us/downloads/windows-10-sdk   as you can see, this is the Nov 30^th version.

I had the same issue. I have the latest update installed. But no luck. Not even able to figure out what's going on. The logs were not very helpful either.

Can you please verify the version of the SDK?  There have been reports of the wrong SDK being installed with the latest VS. 

Please let me know the version of the SDK you have installed.  And then we can schedule a technical session to understand the problem better.

Additionally, can you please provide the exact Windows version and VS version?

For exact Windows version, go to run prompt -> msinfo32

For VS, help-> About.  Please send the 1^st and 2^nd line.
